Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:00), with weekends required every other week (EOW).

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a night shift role. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, adhering to established standards, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, ensuring safety and comfort for each patient.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document all nursing care and accurately update patient charts.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient education and support families in understanding care processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is necessary.
• Must be willing to float as needed within the scope of practice.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred.
