Surgical Technologist - Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular Surgery

Job Description

The Surgical Technologist will support the surgical team in a fast-paced operating room environment. Responsibilities will include preparing operating rooms, securing sterile instruments, and assisting in various cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist during surgical procedures such as CABG, valve repairs, ECMO setups, and vascular interventions.
• Manage sterile instruments and maintain a sterile field.
• Coordinate with surgical teams to ensure efficient workflow.
• Perform duties related to surgeries including robotic, endoscopic, and open procedures.
• Participate in patient safety protocols and comply with institutional policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have experience in cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery.
• BLS Certification (AHA) is required.
• Travel experience preferred; no new travelers or clinicians accepted.
