Nights RN - Adult Surgical Unit

Schedule

12-hour shifts (Nights: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), with every other weekend and holiday required.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a primarily Adult Surgical Unit, which also accommodates a few pediatric patient beds. The ideal candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care through the nursing process and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members. This role may also require travel RNs to float to other units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in line with nursing standards and state laws.
• Document care according to established standards.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Engage in performance improvement activities within the department or unit.
• Provide clinical expertise and support across various departments when necessary.
• Think critically to ensure patient safety and experience, escalating issues through appropriate channels.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Wisconsin RN License.
• Current NIHSS certification.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Education verification required.
