Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Travel Physical Therapist to join our team at a new rehabilitation unit. This position will focus on providing high-quality care in a skilled nursing facility setting, emphasizing patient evaluations, therapy interventions, and functional training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and transfers.
• Provide gait training and therapeutic exercises (Therex).
• Educate patients and family members on treatment protocols and progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Physical Therapist license.
• BLS certification.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred.
• Familiarity with Meditech (Expanse) documentation system is a plus.
