Ultrasound Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services using ultrasound technology. The ideal candidate will possess robust competency and experience in general diagnostic ultrasound, with a strong emphasis on abdominal imaging and obstetric profiles.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations to assist in diagnosis and patient management.
• Utilize ultrasound equipment safely and effectively, ensuring optimal image quality.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient examinations and findings.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to discuss results and maintain continuity of care.
• Participate in call rotations, contributing to the sustainability of imaging services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARDMS certification in Abdomen (ABD) is required; additional certifications in GYN, RVT, and OB are highly preferred.
• Experience as a staff sonographer in a clinical setting is required.
• Preferred experience with Mindray ultrasound equipment, though not necessary.

Schedule

• Shift: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 40.
• Call requirements: Two weeknights with possible weekend call.
