Job Description

You will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department. The role requires a teamwork mentality, the ability to coach and give real-time feedback, as well as flexibility to work in all areas of the ED.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to emergency patients, managing both medical and behavioral cases.
• Utilize advanced equipment and documentation systems (Cerner) for patient care.
• Maintain updated patient information on boards throughout the visit.
• Participate in triage and internal processing in collaboration with techs and clerks.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting.
• Experience in a Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED preferred.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS (all required before hire), ENPC within 90 days of hire.
