Cardiac/Endovascular RN - 10 Hour Days

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday through Friday 7:30am - 6pm, varying start times depending on department needs, four 10-hour shifts plus on-call availability.

Job Description

Assist physicians and allied healthcare staff in performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiac/endovascular procedures. Utilize knowledge of pathophysiology to ensure patients are prepared, educated, and supported during procedures. Critical care experience is essential to recognize and handle emergency situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-3 years of Critical Care experience and/or Cath Lab experience
• BLS and ACLS certification
• EKG interpretation skills
• New Jersey RN license required
• CCRN or RCIS certification preferred

Skills

• IV certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility, diplomacy, tact, and foresight in a high-stress environment
• Preferred: experience with sterile technique and preparation for sterile procedures
