Cardiac Sonographer

Schedule

This position requires availability for the following shift:

• Days: Monday to Friday
• Shift: 07:00 AM - 04:30 PM
• On call: 1-2 nights per week

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Cardiac Sonographer will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with heart conditions. This includes operating ultrasound equipment, ensuring high-quality images, and collaborating with medical teams to provide thorough assessments.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms on patients following established protocols.
• Ensure high-quality imaging and provide preliminary findings to physicians.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Assist in the training of staff and students as needed.
• Adhere to safety and clinical protocols at all times.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARDMS certification in Cardiac Sonography or CCI certification in Cardiac Sonography.
• Current CPR and BLS certification.
• Demonstrated experience as a cardiac sonographer preferred.
• Must meet health and background check requirements.
