Cath Lab Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shifts from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM, working 4x10 hour shifts. Schedule may vary as procedures are completed. On-call requirements include one weekend every seven weeks and one evening shift per week.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Technologist will perform critical procedures within the cardiac catheterization lab. This role requires proficiency in coronary diagnostic and interventional techniques as well as experience in a fast-paced environment. The technologist will assist in various procedures, ensuring optimal patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cath lab.
• Monitor patient status throughout procedures to ensure safety and efficacy.
• Maintain equipment and ensure lab preparedness for daily operations.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cath lab setting.
• National certifications: BLS, ACLS, and ARRT or RCIS (registered or in process), along with a South Carolina license.
• Experience with a range of cardiac procedures, including coronary interventions and monitoring.
• Radiation badge required, to be provided by the agency.
