Registered Nurse - ICU

Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients. You will be responsible for monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient condition, vital signs, and medical needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment and technology.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Ensure compliance with nursing and hospital standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN license required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Knowledge of ventilators, central lines, arterial lines, and chest tube experience preferred.
