Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedic

Schedule

Monday to Friday, with typical shifts of 2 days from 10:30 AM to 7 PM and 2 early days from 7 AM to 3 PM. The clinic operates from 7 AM to 7 PM.

Job Description

As a Physical Therapist, you will assist patients in regaining movement, reducing pain, and returning to their preferred activities. Your caseload will include:

• Post-operative orthopedic patients
• Total joint replacements
• Neck and back pain
• Spine rehabilitation
• Manual therapy patients
• Sports injuries
• General musculoskeletal conditions

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating and treating orthopedic patients
• Developing individualized treatment plans
• Delivering evidence-based one-on-one care
• Utilizing manual therapy techniques when appropriate
• Educating patients and families about treatment
• Documenting care using EMR
• Collaborating with an experienced rehabilitation team
• Participating in community outreach and wellness initiatives

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
• Maryland Physical Therapy license (or eligibility)
• American Heart Association BLS certification
