Behavioral Health RN - Float Pool

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 3x12-hour schedule (11:00 AM - 11:30 PM), with weekend coverage required every other week.

Job Description

The Float Pool Behavioral Health RN will provide care across 19 inpatient units, including children, adolescents, and adults. The candidate must display solid clinical judgment, assessment skills, and leadership abilities while adapting to various unit needs.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on inpatient units.
• Assess and monitor patients' behavioral health needs.
• Conduct clinical evaluations and assist in treatment planning.
• Provide leadership as needed, including charge RN responsibilities without a pay bump.
• Float to various age groups and units as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, including 6 months to 1 year in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting.
• Current RN license required (no temporary licenses accepted).
• BCLS certification required.
