Job Description

The Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for conducting health screens on new hires and administering necessary vaccines to protect caregivers. This role entails managing blood and body fluid exposure incidents, providing respiratory protection training, and overseeing communicable disease management. It is important to note that direct patient care is not provided in this position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health screenings for new hires.
• Administer vaccines to caregivers.
• Manage incidents of blood and body fluid exposure.
• Provide training on respiratory protection.
• Oversee management of communicable diseases.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid state RN license (compact license preferred).
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in occupational health or similar nursing roles.
• Experience with electronic health records is necessary; familiarity with the in-house EHR system is preferred.
