Registered Nurse - ICU Nights

This is a 13-week contract position for a night shift, working 4x12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the ICU will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients. This position requires close monitoring of vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to manage complex patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for patients with acute and chronic health conditions.
• Provide assessments and monitor patients' conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Support and educate patients and families regarding care plans.
• Perform necessary procedures, including arterial line management and ventilator management.
• Ensure proper documentation and communication within the care team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1.5 years of critical care nursing experience.
• Current NM/Compact RN License or pending acceptance.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Experience in neuro intensive care and ventilator management preferred.
• Ability to float to similar units as needed.
