Job Description

The CVOR RN will be responsible for circulating and scrubbing within the Hybrid Room, with an emphasis on various cardiovascular procedures. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in a high-acuity surgical environment, ensuring patient safety and effective surgical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub for complex cardiovascular and transplant surgeries.
• Assist in performing valve replacements, CABG, TAVR, and endovascular surgeries.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and maintaining patient records.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.
• 2.5 years of experience in CVOR required; Hybrid Room experience preferred.
• Some degree of transplant experience preferred (cardiac, lung, and/or kidney).
• Certification in BLS required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
