Job Description

Join our dynamic Orthopedic nursing team in a Magnet-recognized hospital. We offer an engaging work environment with an exceptional focus on teamwork and patient outcomes. Our unit specializes in orthopedic and neuro care, providing a supportive atmosphere for staff and patients alike.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for orthopedic patients, including those undergoing total joint and spine surgeries.
• Administer medications and monitor patients' conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Utilize various medical equipment such as immobilizers, braces, and cold treatment devices.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records using EMR systems (Meditech).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of current RN experience in Orthopedic or Medical/Surgical settings.
• Current BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
