Nights: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. The RN will be responsible for monitoring the mother's vital signs and the fetal heart rate, as well as assisting in delivery and providing support during the birthing process.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions throughout labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and manage pain relief options.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information and progress in electronic medical records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required.
• Cerner and Fetalink experience must be noted on the resume.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required, with a permanent address located 50+ miles from the facility.
