Job Description

We are seeking an experienced travel Registered Nurse specializing in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions in the MICU.
• Manage ventilators, NG tubes, and other critical care equipment.
• Document patient care and progress using the Meditech system.
• Perform bedside procedures such as central line placements, thoracentesis, and cardioversions.
• Assist in intubations and other essential ICU procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years MICU/MSICU experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Active RN license in Texas (temporary licenses will not be accepted).
• CCRN certification preferred.
