Nuclear Medicine Technologist - PET/CT

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule from 07:00 to 17:30.

Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using PET/CT technology. The position requires proficiency in both PET and Nuclear Medicine systems, with a strong preference for experience using Siemens equipment. The technologist will also be involved in patient care, including venipuncture and the administration of radiopharmaceuticals.

Responsibilities

• Conducting PET and Nuclear Medicine studies, including cardiac, bone scans, and renal examinations.
• Administering radiopharmaceuticals and maintaining safety protocols for handling radioactive materials.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care.
• Floating between Mission Viejo and Mission Laguna Beach as required.
• Participating in call rotations as per schedule.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification is required; CA license preferred.
• Experience with Siemens PET and Nuclear Medicine equipment is highly preferred.
• Open to first-time travelers.
