CT Technologist - Acute Care Hospital

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Mid 4x10-Hour Shift (15:00 - 01:00); Night 4x10-Hour Shift (18:00 - 04:00). Must work 3 of 5 major holidays. Start times will vary between 15:00 and 18:00 as needed. Rotating weekends required, with likely coverage every other weekend to meet unit needs.

Job Description

As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing various CT scans and imaging procedures in an acute care hospital setting. You will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care and effective imaging outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans, including but not limited to abdomen, chest, pelvis, and brain.
• Administer contrast media and prepare patients for procedures.
• Ensure radiation safety and compliance with protocols.
• Assist in biopsies, aspirations, and other special procedures as needed.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records in the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid California state license and ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification and Fluoroscopy permit are necessary.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Ability to float to Providence Mission Laguna when required.
