Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the SICU. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the SICU.
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Perform procedures such as central line placements and intubations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
• Document all nursing care and patient information accurately and timely in the Meditech system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN TX license (temporary licenses will not be accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• CCRN certification is preferred.
• Experience with CRRT and hypothermia protocol is desirable.
• Meditech experience is preferred.
