Shift: 18:30 - 07:00 (12-hour shifts), with every other weekend and holiday rotations.

Job Description

This position requires a dedicated registered nurse with a minimum of 13 weeks of experience in an inpatient rehabilitation or medical-surgical environment. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care to adult patients with various conditions, including stroke, brain and spinal-cord injuries, and complex orthopedic injuries. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to maximize patient recovery and support them in achieving their highest level of independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and monitoring patient conditions.
• Assist in creating and implementing individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Engage in patient education to promote recovery and health management.
• Respond to patient needs promptly, including answering call lights and assisting nursing assistants.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or 24/7 skilled care environment.
• Inpatient rehabilitation or medical-surgical experience is preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Must possess an active RN license.
