Monday to Friday, 10 AM - 7 PM (No Weekends)

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with recent experience in a Pre-Surgery Clinic setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to ensure a smooth pre-surgical process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-operative assessments
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Provide patient and family education regarding surgical procedures
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty
• AHA BLS & ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification (Stroke assessment)
• Strong IV skills; consideration for Medical-Surgical RNs with robust IV proficiency

Holiday Work Requirements

Candidates must work 2 major holidays out of the following: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, along with 1 minor holiday such as the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
