TAVR TTE Ultrasound Technician

Tues-Sat 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM, 9.5-hour shifts

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced TAVR TTE Ultrasound Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in scanning pre-TAVR treatment patients suffering from critical aortic stenosis. The technician's expertise must be evidenced in their resume.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
• Explain procedures in easy-to-understand terms to relieve pre-testing anxiety.
• Perform ultrasound procedures while monitoring patients throughout the examination.
• Set up equipment and administer procedures efficiently.
• Carefully review prior reports, images, and patient charts.
• Ensure that proper images are obtained and notify the reader of any issues.
• Maintain records and logs of exams performed.
• Oversee inventory and purchase supplies for the assigned area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Experience

Candidates must have:

• Extensive experience performing TTE on patients with critical aortic stenosis.
• A background in working at a valve center or structural heart facility.
