CT/X-Ray Technologist - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Weekday night shift: Monday through Thursday, 19:30 - 08:00, with a 30-minute lunch at approximately 23:30.

Job Description

The CT/X-Ray Technologist will perform both CT and X-Ray imaging during the night shift. The role requires the technologist to operate independently after midnight, conducting various imaging studies for different patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, and pediatrics. The candidate will be expected to provide high-quality imaging and ensure patient safety through following isolation precautions and radiation safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CT and X-Ray exams, ensuring high-quality images are obtained.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records and provide interpretations when required.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control measures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification in CT and Radiography.
• Valid Washington State License as a CT/X-Ray Technologist.
• At least 1 year of imaging experience, preferably in a trauma center or acute care environment.
• Additional skills in biopsies, aspirations, and management/lead experience are preferred.
