Job Description

The Cath Lab Recovery RN is responsible for the preparation and recovery of all Cath Lab and EP Lab patients. The nurse will work with a variety of cardiac diagnoses, emphasizing care for vascular patients and those requiring moderate sedation.

Responsibilities

• Prepping and recovering patients from Cath Lab and EP Lab.
• Monitoring patients post-procedure to ensure safety and comfort.
• Administering medications and IV therapy as needed.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Experience in ICU or ED; preferred experience in interventional radiology (IR) and moderate sedation.
• Prior experience with cardiac patients and related procedures preferred.
