Job Description

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients through the Nursing Process, adhering to the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policies and procedures. This role requires critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the planning and safe delivery of care. The Registered Nurse will maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education, delegate patient care priorities based on staff qualifications, and supervise the personnel delivering patient care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process for patient care.
• Anticipate and plan for safe delivery of care.
• Maintain clinical competency through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities according to staff education and experience.
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS & BLS certifications (must be attached to submission; must be through the American Heart Association).
• CA RN license (must be attached to resume).
• Clinical experience in an acute care or LTAC setting.
