12-hour night shifts with a 36-hour guarantee.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg unit, you will be responsible for preparing, administering, and recording prescribed medications. You will also perform essential tasks such as changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs, while adjusting specialized medical equipment as necessary. Your role includes monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any adverse reactions to medications promptly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Adjust medical equipment and interpret measurements.
• Monitor vital signs and report adverse reactions in a timely manner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience is required.
• Recent travel nursing experience is preferred.
• Current Oklahoma State License or compact license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from AHA is required.
• NIH Stroke Certification is a plus.
