Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse - Nights

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients during the labor and delivery process. This role demands clinical expertise and a compassionate approach to patient care, ensuring the safety and comfort of both mother and newborn.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients during labor, including vital signs and fetal heart rate.
• Administer medications and assist with anesthetic procedures as required.
• Facilitate a safe and supportive environment for expectant mothers and their families.
• Provide education and support to patients regarding labor and delivery processes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care.

Schedule

This position requires working the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license required.
• Must pass a Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen and Fit Test.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery preferred but not mandatory.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
