Registered Nurse – Med/Surg – Night Shift

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 3 days a week with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg team for the night shift. The unit specializes in providing care for post-operative orthopedic patients, ensuring high standards of patient experience and safety.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and conditions.
• Assist with blood transfusions and IV maintenance.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members for optimum patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• Basic Med/Surg experience, especially with post-op patients.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred but not mandatory.
