Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Labor and Delivery unit. This facility is known for its supportive atmosphere, camaraderie among staff, and a beautiful campus. Nurses will have the opportunity to work with a skilled team and engage in community activities such as book clubs and group dinners.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in labor, manage preterm labor, and assist in deliveries.
• Utilize advanced monitoring techniques and equipment during high-risk deliveries.
• Administer blood products, medications, and other treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with OB-GYN teams, attend GYN surgeries, and provide couplet care.
• Engage in patient education and support for new parents in the transition nursery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Epic experience is required.
• Certifications required: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS preferred.
• Valid state nursing license must be in hand at the time of application.
