Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in perinatal care and will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to pregnant patients during labor and delivery. The hospital is known for its beautiful campus and supportive staff environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and provide appropriate nursing interventions in labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and assist with various procedures including epidurals and blood transfusions.
• Provide education and support to patients and families throughout the labor and delivery process.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and manage complications during labor.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery.
• Active RN licensure with compact license preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS (preferred).
• Epic experience is required.
