Registered Nurse - Surgical Services

Schedule

Day Shift: 6:30am - 2:30pm, Monday to Friday with some call coverage on weekends. May need to work late on high case days.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct patient care in all three areas of surgical services: Pre-op, OR/Circulator, and PACU. The RN will function as a primary caregiver and must be proficient in all three domains.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and document patient care.
• Provide emotional support and coordinate transfers.
• Recover patients and circulate surgical cases.
• Assist with processing instruments and equipment in central sterilization.
• Prepare patients for surgery and provide patient education.
• Adhere to principles of infection control and departmental policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Education: RN graduate with current Colorado licensure.
• Experience: 3 years in Pre-op, OR, and PACU preferred.
• Certifications: ACLS certification; CNOR and scrub experience preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
