This position involves a 36-hour work week consisting of 4 days with 9-hour shifts.

Job Description

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. Responsibilities include circulating in the operating rooms and providing care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The OR RN will be involved in a variety of specialties including General Surgery, GI, OBGYN, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Cataracts, and Podiatry.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in the operating room for various surgical procedures.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor patients in the PACU.
• Manage patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have circulating experience in the operating room.
• PACU experience is required.
• Previous experience in the following specialties is required: General Surgery, GI, OBGYN, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Cataracts, and Podiatry.
• Scrub experience is a plus but not required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• State RN license verification is required.
• Permanent address must be included in application submission.
• Must have previous travel experience preferred.
