Labor and Delivery Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our Level 2 Labor and Delivery unit, delivering care to patients 32 weeks and above. The ideal candidate must excel at triaging patients, circulating cesarean sections, and managing labor and delivery in collaboration with physicians and midwives. Additionally, the nurse will assist in patient recovery following both vaginal and cesarean deliveries.

Schedule

This position offers a daytime schedule from 7am to 7pm on weekdays, with the expectation of working every other weekend and holidays.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) License
• National Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Preferred: 5+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery
• Preferred: Previous travel nursing experience
• Preferred: Experience with EPIC electronic health records

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
