Registered Nurse - Day Shift, Weekends and Holidays

Schedule

Day shift only, with weekends and holidays included. The schedule consists of 4 ten-hour shifts.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the healthcare team. This role includes planning and implementing patient and family education, assessing patient needs, and initiating appropriate interventions.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health (Assessment).
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues (Diagnosis).
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient.
• Develop a plan that prescribes strategies to attain expected outcomes (Plan of Care).
• Implement the identified plan of care.
• Promote a healthy and safe environment.
• Enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
• Continue knowledge and competency development in line with current nursing practices.
• Evaluate nursing practice against professional standards and guidelines.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and other team members.
• Integrate ethical provisions and research findings into practice.
• Provide leadership within the professional practice setting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Montana Licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Preferred experience includes working in a pre-hospital setting (e.g., Ski Patrol, Search & Rescue, EMS), Emergency Department, Urgent Care, or other acute care clinical experience.
• Outpatient or walk-in clinic experience is also preferred.
