07:00 - 19:00, on-call required including one weekend a month.

Job Description

The Operating Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to surgical patients in a multi-specialty environment. The RN will work closely with surgical teams, utilizing necessary skills and knowledge to deliver effective patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing surgeries including open, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures.
• Provide patient education and emotional support to surgical patients and families.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes in condition during surgeries.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all relevant patient information and surgical outcomes accurately in EMR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical setting.
• Experience in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, GYN.
• BSN preferred; candidates without a BSN may be considered based on experience.
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are required.
