Medical Surgical RN - Night Shift

Schedule

This position requires a night shift schedule, specifically a 12-hour shift, with a commitment to work 36 hours weekly.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in managing patients with spinal neuro trauma, gunshot injuries, quadriplegics, and paraplegics. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using EPIC and must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with complex medical and surgical needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Nursys license verification.
• Work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days.
• Skills checklist and professional references.
