Occupational Therapist - Outpatient and Acute Care

Schedule

Monday to Friday, primarily days. Shift options are 8 hours or 4x10 hours.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist for a mixed setting that includes outpatient, acute care, and home health. The position primarily focuses on outpatient care, with a strong possibility of working predominantly in that setting. The ideal candidate should possess a robust background in treating diverse populations, including post-operative patients, sports injuries, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations and treatment plans for patients in outpatient and acute settings.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams at various facilities within a 60-mile radius.
• Conduct home health visits as necessary, ensuring quality care regardless of setting.
• Utilize appropriate assessment tools for post-operative and sports injury rehabilitation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Occupational Therapist license valid in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience, with a strong emphasis on outpatient therapy.
• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient environments is highly preferred.
• Proficient in treating geriatrics, along with a background in post-operative care.
