Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This state-of-the-art unit specializes in the post-operative recovery of surgical patients and offers a collaborative environment that emphasizes teamwork and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Monitor and manage patients recovering from surgery and various medical conditions.
• Utilize telemonitoring and other advanced medical technologies effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Manage a patient assignment ratio of 5:1, adapting to high patient turnover as necessary.
• Participate in unit culture by promoting teamwork and effective communication.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital experience in a Progressive Care Unit.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification are required.
• Cardiac experience and previous Meditech experience are preferred.
