ICU Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, with recent ICU experience. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care instructions.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided accurately.

Schedule

This position follows a 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM schedule, with 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed each week. Flexibility in shift options is preferred.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of ICU experience within the last 12 months.
• Life support certifications (ACLS and BLS) must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No disciplinary issues on state licenses.
• Active driver's license for residency verification.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
