Registered Nurse - ICU

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM. 36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed. Banner has the option to cancel 1 shift.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) assignment. The ideal candidate will be required to wear Navy scrubs and must possess the NIH Stroke Scale certification. Candidates from Arizona are not eligible for assignments within the state.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition continuously.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of ICU experience with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Active RN license with no hits.
• Life support certifications (ACLS and BLS) must be current and from approved vendors.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification is required.
• Must have an active driver’s license for residency verification.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
