Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (7P - 7:30A)

This is a 13-week contract position with 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed. Banner is allowed to cancel 1 shift.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Emergency Room Registered Nurse with at least 24 months of recent ER experience. The ideal candidate will hold current life support certifications and be ready to start on the assigned date or within one week. This position does not allow any time off during the first week of assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess and triage patient conditions efficiently and effectively.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all relevant information in patient charts accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of ER experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months (required).
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (required).
• No hits on state license to practice (required).
• Driver's license to verify residency (required).
• Active ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from approved vendors (required).
