Physical Therapist - Acute Care

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Candidates should be available for rotating weekends every four weeks and will participate in a holiday rotation.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will provide therapy interventions, evaluations, and treatment plans for patients in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate must have experience in an acute care environment, preferably with level 1 trauma experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and assess patient progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all patient interactions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of Physical Therapy experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist, verified in the last 30 days.
• Life support certifications (BLS, PALS) from approved vendors (AHA, ARC, or ASHI).
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
