Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in Medical-Surgical nursing, with an emphasis on general and overflow oncology care. The RN will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and maintain proper documentation.
• Assess patient needs and develop comprehensive care plans.
• Monitor and record vital signs and changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and health team members to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing.
• Active RN license verified through Nursys.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records required.
• Skills checklist, references, and work history with no gaps greater than 60 days required.
