Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) with rotating weekends.

Job Description

The Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) will provide essential nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting. The RN will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vitals and overall condition.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
• Conduct patient assessments and document findings.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med Surg setting.
• Permanent address must be over 50 miles from the facility.
