Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work in the Respiratory Services department and will be required to perform assessments, diagnostic tests, and therapeutic procedures to support patients in critical care units as well as adult and pediatric services.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient respiratory status
• Administer respiratory therapy and treatments as prescribed
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop patient care plans
• Educate patients and families about respiratory care
• Document all care provided and maintain accurate patient records in EMR

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid North Carolina Respiratory License
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
