Travel CT Scan Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

4x10 hour Evening shifts from 1 PM to 11 PM, including alternating weekends.

Job Description

The Travel CT Scan Technologist will possess a working knowledge of various CT examinations, including CTA work and STROKE protocols, as well as procedures that require the use of contrast agents. The role necessitates the ability to inject patients with contrast during CT studies, practice sterile techniques, and review images for technical accuracy before they are sent to PACs for interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations and assessments as per protocols.
• Inject patients with contrast agents ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain high standards of sanitary practices and sterile techniques.
• Review and assure the technical accuracy of images before sending to PACs.
• Engage in maintaining patient safety and confidentiality throughout the process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a CT Tech role.
• ARRT (CT) certification required.
• Proven history of computer usage necessary for EMR (Cerner) management.
• Ability to work independently with minimal clinical supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for patient interaction.
