Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30), every third weekend, and holidays as needed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide specialized care in an acute care rehabilitation setting, focusing on patients with rehabilitation needs such as CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injuries, and generalized debility. The nurse will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Interpret laboratory results and perform medication reconciliation.
• Take patient health questionnaires, allergies, and vital signs.
• Perform dressing changes and set up aseptic/sterile procedure trays.
• Conduct telephone triage and handle pharmacy calls/patient refill requests.
• Assure appropriate patient ratios (1:6) are maintained during shifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care rehabilitation experience required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Epic charting system experience is mandatory.
• No first-time travelers; prior travel experience is necessary.
• Active nursing license must be in hand at the time of application.
