Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will float between units as needed and manage various maternal health conditions.

Responsibilities

• Administer care to laboring patients, including high-risk deliveries and maternal emergencies.
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and maternal vital signs, initiating appropriate interventions as necessary.
• Assist in obstetrical procedures such as Cesarean sections, vaginal deliveries, and postpartum care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding childbirth and newborn care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including IV teams, respiratory services, and social services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Active RN license (compact license preferred).
• Current certifications in ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM.
• Experience with Epic charting system required.
